On May 21st 2024, IDS Indonesia held a SAP Business One workshop at LK Hotel Chadstone Cikarang. The workshop began with an overview and functionality presentation of SAP Business One by Mr. Asep Budiman (Consulting Leader – IDS Indonesia). This was followed by an introduction to Sharperlight, a reporting and dashboarding solution that can integrate with SAP Business One and other ERP systems or data sources, presented by Mr. Jeff Wall (APAC Business Development Manager – Sharperlight Australia).
After the lunch break, the event continued with a demonstration of how AIDC (Automatic Identification and Data Capture) devices can be integrated with SAP Business One. The demo included label/card printing and automation input using a Mobile PDT (Portable Data Terminal), presented by Mr. Hero Sugiharto (GM Technical – Noah Arkindo) and supported by Wahyu Amirulloh (Technical Consultant – IDS Indonesia). The session also featured hardware demonstrations including barcode scanner, label printing, and card printing.
At the end of the event, our CEO, Hamdi Syukriwan, summarized the day’s presentations by addressing common problems in manufacturing companies such as inventory traceability, over/under material purchases, real-time stock monitoring, and integration with accounting. He highlighted how SAP Business One, supported by Sharperlight and various input devices, can solve these issues.
The workshop was attended by more than 40 participants from over 20 companies, primarily from the manufacturing industry, but also including representatives from the F&B, construction, heavy equipment, and service industries.
